So I had some issues last night with my Remix project. The good news is I got it all finished up this morning and I am ready to present. I am really proud of myself, because before I really couldn't understand Audacity or Bush of Ghosts downloading process. I just hop allthat fading and cutting and other things works when I get to class. :)

So far the remix project is going good. For some reason, the sample of sounds given sound different from the track that Brian Eno origionally did for "A Secret Life." The variety of sounds given areinteresting. It was kind of hard trying to arrange them after cutting certain partsof the track out.

Remix Project

I am writing a blog that was meant for yesterday when I worked more on the project. Yesterday I composed all of the tracks I wanted to sample for the Remix project. Over the past couple of weeks I had to use someone elses computer to play around with the files, but I now know which ones fit best together for me. "A SecretLife" has somevery interesteing sounds, some are a little spooky, but they fit together. I wish I understood the arabic tracks so that if I used them they would make a little more sense to me but, it's cool.

Remix Project

So I've been working on playing around with the different sounds for the Remix Project. I chose to use the track samples of "A Secret Life" for my project. I realized that I was suppose to be blogging on our personal blogs, so here's one that should've been written on last week. It's kindof hard mixing some ofthe beats together butcertainly fun and a challenge.

Primary Colors???????

So.... as a visual arts student you must know the basic principles and elements of design. They also teach you how colors realate to one another such as the primary colors, secondary colors and complimentary colors. You would think from chilhood to never forget that there are three primary colors: red, blue, and yellow. That theory still applies to the arts when painting or dealing with other forms of visual art. This isn't quite a fact when working with lights. In my first day of Intro to Light and Sound class, I some how missed the part where painting primary colors and lighting primary colors differ. When working with lights your primary colors are red, blue and green. I had to have been lost for the first 20 minutes of class, but now I will never forget what my "NEW" set of primary colors are. "Green light" means it's a go.
